Demand booms in OC
Demand for live/work properties at the Vantis community in Aliso Viejo, Orange County was so great that one potential buyer camped out for 10 days before the sales release in January. Nancy Height managed to buy one of the 41 live/work units at City Walk and has now launched her own hairdressing salon there.
‘Having my salon and my living space under one roof is a complete dream come true,' she said. ‘My business is off and running, my established clients are coming in and I am booked for quite a while. There is so much potential - I'm very excited about the future here.' The units, from Shea Homes, are offered at three levels of design, the largest at 2,635 sq ft with three bedrooms.
Orange County news source the OC Register recently reported that developers in the area are focussing increasingly to apartments because of economic uncertainty in other areas of the real estate market.
